Abstract
The death penalty is administered when the survival of one person who is convicted of some crimes in the court of law, threatens the survival of other people. The death penalty is a rare sentence in courts of the United States of America. Nevertheless, the case of Gary is exceptional. Just the way the kind of punishment is extraordinary, the matter deserves a death penalty. The existence of Gary on the planet earth is dangerous to the survival of other innocent citizens. Gary has committed many monstrous crimes that left many people surprised. It cannot be called accident since he has not done criminal offenses once or twice. It is his habit wherever he resides. After traveling to North Carlina, he killed Ricki Carter, whom they associated with. He was lived with Ricki as a transvestite and later broke his ribs. Additionally, he threatened to do away with his family. He was an agent of evil, and thus death sentence was the only remedy for him.

Death Penalty
It is an ordinary question to ponder about whether Gary L. Sampson ought to get a death penalty. He has committed heinous crimes that attract judicial system to intervene and determine his fate. My response to this question would be YES. Sampson is known to have been convicted of bank robberies and an avid drug addict. Just but to mention, Gary killed three innocent folks. According to the minds of many People, Sampson may have been neglected and abandoned during his childhood.

This may have caused a feeling of dissatisfaction, disaffection, and unhappiness. A combination of all these emotions may have resulted in indulgence to all sorts of crimes he committed.
To be sincere, only a sober person can have brains to rob a bank. No single stupid person can have guts to enter a financial institution illegally. This is because the security measures put on banks are usually stringent. The surveillance and CCTV cameras are installed to capture an individual who may attempt to break into such premises. Hence, Sampson is a man who was in his senses to think, decide, plan and act in the manner to rob the bank. An individual decides to kill, drink alcohol and abuse drugs. Therefore, according to my opinion, Gary deserves the death penalty. This cause of action will hamper him from continued use of violence that he has been applying. Killing him will be the prevention of many other deaths and destruction of property since he has been known for this kind of behavior.
Sentencing Gary for life imprisonment will not be a proper remedy because he has shown that he has the capacity and most likely to hurt others. In the past, he has killed, robbed banks, and raped. Abuse of drugs and addiction is spread from one person to another depending on the relationship and someone’s association. All these vices will not be committed again by Sampson if he receives a judgment of death penalty. I am not yet convinced that his commitment of crimes was as a result of mental impairment. Gary adopted choices and did all possible to partake his decision. Sparing him after appearing before the court will be a chance given to him to continue his absurd evil operations (McShane, 2013). His living means hurting to others. With the consideration of the entire society; it is admissible to terminate his life.
We are much aware that Gary had an unpleasant and unfit childhood. Nevertheless, his past is not enough to strip him of happiness and safety at his latter age life. Crooked treatment during his teenage was not an excuse for him to commit the crimes such as killing and rape. Adding insult to an injury is never a remedy to a problem but instead worsening the situation. Well, this counts as another reason why I advocate for the death penalty for Sampson. He did not have a clinical disease such as insanity that would have caused him be set free of trial in the court. I am confident in this because he traveled to the south to North Carolina and at his arrival, he took new identity as Gary Johnson, a construction worker. I would not have had a mind to sneak out of his state if he was unconscious of the crimes he had committed. He left for North Carolina because he was afraid of arrest. Therefore, the death penalty is the best justice worth administration to Gary Sampson.
