Addiction and Substance Abuse
Name
Institution
Addiction is indeed a chronic illness characterized by substance seeking and utilization that is obsessive or challenging to control, in spite of harmful consequences. The initial choice to take substance is deliberate for most persons, but repeated substance use could lead to mind variations that destroy an addicted individual’s self-control and affect their capability to repel intense desires to use drugs (Vaidya, 2018). Many persons do not comprehend how or why other persons become hooked to drugs. They could mistakenly contemplate that the people who use substance lack moral willpower or principles and that they would stop their substance use merely by choice. In reality, substance dependence is a multifaceted disease, and abandoning usually takes further than a strong will or good intentions. Substance abuse varies from addiction. Many persons with drug abuse complications are capable to abandon or could change their harmful behavior. Therefore, the research question is how individuals get addicted to substance use, the consequences of substance abuse and the available medication to help victims recover.
The most significant portion of the study procedure is the design of queries that accurately assess the experience, opinions, and public’s behaviors. Accurate random selection and high reaction rates would be lost if the data collected is assembled on a wobbly foundation of biased or ambiguous questions (Defranzo, 2014). In my final project, I will use a closed-ended questionnaire.

Wait! Addiction and Substance Abuse paper is just an example!

Therefore, the questionnaire will contain closed format questions with multiple choice answers. I will utilize the closed-ended questionnaire design because it is easy to conduct the preliminary analysis. The closed-ended questions are perfect for computing statistical percentages and data, as the set responses are known.
