The United States has been dealing with two major issues for a long time, immigration and amnesty. They are the main headline topics, and most politicians use it as a great subject matter for their debates. Many have a say in how they think the state government should handle the matter.
Amnesty is a decision that is made so that a set of individuals won’t be penalized or that some convicts will be released. Only the immigrants who have lived in the states for a period and their families are granted citizenship by the US amnesty policy. Immigration is a very important matter to the United States and its history. The United States has at all times permitted immigrants to come into the nation, and its policy is the most accommodative. Immigration laws were passed from the time of the civil war.
Dianne Feinstein speech in support of the comprehensive immigration reform, talks of two bills that the Senate has to take a vote on, the leaders bill that deals with implementation at the border and the judiciary committee bill which will be presented to the Senate for more discussion and amendment. The Congress has to think about today’s immigration world before approving any legislation. Federal agencies have failed since they are in charge of offering protection at the borders, and the administration of immigration services currently and the state is left to deal with this failure. The seed of the current immigration laws is the employer sanctions that are a failure.

Wait! amnesty (immigration related) paper is just an example!

Regulation at the border is spotty, and naturalization takes ages. The state of the imprisonment facilities is very poor and in spite of the measures being taken to have operational control at the border and to have the interior of the United States secure so that all people can follow the rules, the government has failed basically. On average, undocumented persons staying in the US are 10-12 million and the came by illegal means into the country. They have futile livelihoods and some have been here for as long as long as 30 years. They are many, and some are home owners and they pay their taxes, they have need to abide by the law, but currently they have no means as to how they should live by the law.in the current global economy, employer sanctions cannot work. As witnessed in California where officials of immigration went into agricultural sites and arrested the employers and this initiated a very negative reaction from the public. The law is just as good as the capability to implement it in the United States of America have no ability currently to enforce the employer sanctions.
Measures need to be taken such as building a border infrastructure that will be effective and modern. There is a need to allow the immigrants who are already here in our very own societies and in our work force to have a means to continue staying in the country. What will happen to the 12 million people living in the shadows because they are undocumented? They cannot go back to their original country since most have jobs in the state, but they face on a daily basis threats, exploitation, work abuse and blackmail. The bill will be substantial in assisting them to live openly and without fear. This bill is not an amnesty, and there are some conditions to be followed such as learning the English language, pay all taxes, pay a 2000$ fine and mustn’t have a criminal record.
All in all, despite our feelings on this, we have a chance to bring about a change of destiny to many people, a real opportunity to be of help to many and thus bring a halt to the illegal infusion over our borders in the coming days.
