Modern Day Pilgrim.
The house is quiet,
The neighborhood is quiet,
Only my whisper is heard,
Huh! I am such a nerd.
Let me take you through a story of my life
Shadows gathering on the street,
Bird breathe, so discreet,
Feet difficult to move,
Awaiting a visitor, maybe to rave.
Could the companion come this way?
Because he knows, the game a play,
Awakening Crowley, where he sleeps,
To join me, where we sip,
Everything is silent, as if in mute,
Maybe playing the flute,
Shadows will glow brightly again,
And there goes, a ding again,
The friend it brings,
The joy with him reigns,
No deceits anticipate a treat.
The poem talks about the life of a nerd. Nerds are people in the society considered awkward. That regards to how they act, behave or carry themselves in their daily lives. Some of the characteristics that such people exhibit include preferring to be alone or selecting a few friends from the outside world (Nugent 5). In most cases, friends also tend to exhibit similar characteristics making them relate well. I am criticizing the lonely aspect of nerds. Following, such people tend to seek a companion with the only person that seems to relate well with them, and that brings joy.
Nerds behave in a different way from what the other people in the society do result in disrespect. People recognize only the negative part of a nerd’s life but fail to identify the positive side. That involves appreciating that nerds are people who chose and follow a specific way of life.

Wait! Archetype Poem and Interpretation paper is just an example!

The characteristics that nerds exhibit explain that they are committed to living their lives. Living monotonously helps one in refining the skills that he/she has made him an expert. That is what results in the society referring them to as nerds or people who lack social skills.
