Parenting and Behavior
Parents are the core influence of a child’s behavior when they are growing up. How they nurture a child determines his or her action as a child and in the later years when he is an adult. And thus the conduct of the parent immensely determines the actions of the child. Parents can choose to be either permissive or authoritative in the raising of their kids.
I have some friends that have been raised by parents that are authoritative while others have been raised by parents that have been lenient and liberal. Nevertheless, I have decided to focus on my friend who has been raised by parents that are of a generous nature. I can agree that their parent’s tactic of upbringing significantly impacted his behavior. To start with, my friend has a poor time and behavioral management (Kendra 2018). He is too much involved in playing video games all day and does not do anything that is constructive in his life. This is because the kid doesn’t have rules or structure that has been imparted to him by his parents. He goes home late in the evening without having an issue. He also possesses terrible eating habits whereby he overeats and all the time. It has resulted in him being overweight, and he has developed health complications that are related to bad eating habits.
Besides, he is often bellicose and has poor emotional management. Most times he does not know how to handle his emotions when a friend or a classmate have wronged him. Moreover, he is eruptive when he doesn’t succeed in getting what he wants.

Wait! behavioral conduct paper is just an example!

He also gets a lot of stress when he encounters a difficult situation or a problem. His ability to make critical decisions is too low as a result of the lack of emotional management. Furthermore, my friend portrays pitiable achievement in many sectors. He does perform well in school and also in other areas like sports. This is because he feels like he has nothing to work for since his parents provide him with everything and have little expectation of him. Therefore, he feels like he has no pressure in performing exemplary in his studies (Kendra 2018).
Another behavior that my friend has is drug abuse. He is much into using cocaine and drinks a lot of alcohol. This results in him being rowdy and deteriorates regarding behavior when he is under the influence of the drugs. His parents also willingly offer him money whenever he asks them. They do not object nor ask the purpose of the cash, and this has given him the liberty and resource to do anything he wants with the money, thus indulging in cocaine and alcohol abuse.
Consequently, it is safe to deduce that the permissive nature of the parents has drastically influenced bad habits such as poor emotional and behavior management, aggression due to poor emotional conduct, drug abuse as well as the display of poor performance. This has led to the kid picking up practices that are ill-mannered which have a negative impact on the boy’s life. As a result, the tactic that parents use in raising their kids immensely influences their nature and behavior as they grow up into adulthood.
