INTRODUCTION
Thinking back to when I was ten years old, I most wanted to be a pastor so that I could help people understand the word of God.
As a kid, I grew up in a family where everyone felt the need to help each other.
Today, underscoring the reminiscences of my childhood age, I will introduce Bishop Stanley B. Searcy, Sr. as my mentor and superstar.

I. Bishop Stanley B. Searcy, Sr. is a parent, teacher and a pastor whose heart is toward serving the community and empowering people.
A. According to New Hope, the Vision Center, Searcy is a caring husband and affectionate father of five children and twelve grandchildren.1. He is married to Brenda A. Searcy who is also his co-pastor at New Hope the Vision Center.
2. Bishop Stanley B. Searcy, Sr. together with his partner Brenda started the full-time ministry in 1993 after establishing New Hope the Vision Center; they moved from house to house in cell groups.

In a nutshell, Bishop Stanley B. Searcy, Sr. is not only an icon but also a role model to many people in the Natchez community.
As a pastor, Bishop Searcy has inspired many people, including me.
I pay tribute to him today for having impacting my life and jumpstarting me on the path of success through his selfless actions and pieces of advice.
