Political cartoon has been influential in the American politics for a long time. Since the beginning of the different political landscapes in America and other parts of the world, cartoons have been widely used (Barillé, 2016). They have been applied in paying attention and poking fun at the wide affairs more especially those which affect the poor or marginalized people. In the earlier centuries before the introduction of the Televisions, colonial people used cartoons to express their ideas through drawings and sometimes they were posted in various newspapers. The videos show that the history of cartoons in the modern world helps in providing the large reflection of the past occurrences in the world politics. The ideas and information that is carried in the cartoon videos clearly indicate the various caused of the world revolutions such as the American Revolution and the French revolution. The cartoons in the videos indicate several causes of the revolutions at the current time such as grievances and continued marginalization of the poor people from the countries’ politics and economic potentials.
The cartoons by nature were designed to present the indirect message of increasing political, economic and social discontent through video plays. Though seemed to be designed for the interest of the children, the cartoons carry an indirect message for the elders more especially the leaders or politicians.

Wait! Cartoon History on Revolution paper is just an example!

In the videos, contents highly indicate how the cartoons were paying their attention to the key concepts of the political authority in America and France (Barillé, 2016). The major causes of the revolutions at the time such as the American and French revolutions were the increasing complaints and discontent from the lower classes or peasants and middle class. Philosophers and academia of the time, in most cases, made their communications in more indirect ways. Their communications were made in form of writings, images, and videos. Among these, included cartoons which portrayed different messages exposing the weakness of the current leaders and calling for the immediate revolutions. The then leadership was so oppressive and could not allow anyone who raised against their dictatorial leadership directly. Thus, people resorted to passing on the information to other people through cartoon videos and pictures.
Despite the designation of the majority of the cartoon videos to the children, they also carry crucial direct and indirect information to the adults. Their videos are instrumental in representing the different political, social and economic problems facing the citizens in the country more especially the lower class (peasants) and the members of the middle class. These are some of the factors that led to the occurrence of the world revolutions such as the French and the American revolutions (Mimie, 2012). These movements were aimed at solving the political and social-economic injustices that were affecting the majority of the people in the society rising out of poor leadership. For instance, the French more especially the peasants being led by the members of the middle class expressed their long-time grievances through staging a revolutionary movement against the monarchy. However, this revolution was majorly influenced by the success of the earlier American revolution. The cartoon videos explain the various causes of the revolutions such as the abuse of the rights of the disadvantaged people such as the children, corruption, over taxation and injustices in the societies. Therefore, due to the wide influence of the cartoon videos to both the children and the adult, they were highly used to increase on the political influence that existed in the different societies which ended in a series of political movements or revolutionaries (BCC. Com, n.d). The cartoon videos clearly indicate and explain the great influence that the American revolution had on the occurrence of other revolutions in Europe right from the 18th century and onwards. In this case, the videos have great values in explaining the major problems that may result into political revolutions in world. The text in the cartoon videos gives more enlightenment due to its ability to clearly point out the major grievances affecting the marginalized groups of people. This helps in increasing on the understanding and analysis of the key issues affecting the society that can result into political instability or revolutions.
