Cell phones also cause social problems of anti-social behavior. People spend too much time on phone screens failing to experience the world and develop interpersonal relationships with others (Phithakkitnukoon, Leong, Smoreda, & Olivier, 2012).
Summary
Cell phones represent great technologies that have revolutionized the way people communicate and also increased people’s access to information. Cell phones also represented more portable forms of computers, and with advanced technology, they have been able to have the functionality of computers and devices such as cameras, radios and music systems (Singh, & Gautam, 2018). They are capable of storing information, making calls, sending information through emails and many other. However, there are certain elements of the technology they use that are harmful to users (Fejes, 2005). Making calls and having access to the internet uses radio waves that have been linked to the development of cancer. Radio waves are forms of non-ionizing radiations which can be absorbed by the body leading to different health implications such as different forms of cancers.

Wait! Cellphones paper is just an example!

The radiation emitted by cell phones is non-ionizing because it is of low frequency, but the length of use creates more risk of development of health problems. Cellphones have also led to antisocial behavior associated with absorbing people into their application and making many people unable to develop interpersonal skills (Centellegher, López, Saramäki, & Lepri, 2017).
Call to Action
As explained above, cell phones are great devices technologically because of the capabilities for entertainment and communication. However, they are also associated with physical and social problems. People have to decide where to put the limit on the use of such devices. As much as they benefit humanity, they also cause health and social implications that need an immediate address to protect people. People should understand that societies survived without them and that leaving them behind will not mean the end of the world (Madell, & Muncer, 2007).
