Answer One
According to me, any person who does not have the Holy Spirit does not belong to Christ (The NIV Study Bible, Rom. 8.9). However, Therefore, for any person to be called God’s child, he or she must allow the Holy Spirit to direct their lives (Rom. 8.14). Also, I believe that the Holy Spirit plays an essential role in the life of any Christian. For example, if we allow Him to live in our lives, He will resurrect our mortal, body just as He resurrected Jesus Christ from the dead. Also having the Holy Spirit live within us makes us obedient to God’s instructions through the convictions that a person receives and not gratify the sinful nature, which help him or her live a life of overcoming the life challenges. Also the Holy Spirit helps a person to develop and produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit, where the person becomes patient, loving, kind, peace, goodness, faith, self-control, gentleness, and joy (Gal. 5.22-23). The Holy Spirit also gives each one of us a gift to use it to serve the others in the church for example the gift of serving, prophesy and teaching(Rom. 12.3-8; 1 Cor 12:4-11).
Answer Two
In the book of Hebrews, we learn that Jesus is our high priest (The NIV Study Bible, Heb. 4.14). The primary reason why Jesus became a human being is for him to become our high priest (Heb. 2.14). I believe Jesus’s death and resurrection is a proof that we are not under the old covenant. He assures Christians of a better and perfect covenant compared to the old one.

Wait! Class 7 Religious Study paper is just an example!

We no longer need human mediators since Jesus is the ideal mediator interceding for us at the right hand of the Father. Therefore, Jesus desires that we approached the throne with confidence because He was in a similar situation but overcame ( Heb. 4.14-16). Jesus can save Christians completely (Heb 7.25). When Jesus offered himself as the perfect sacrifice by death on the cross, it was sufficient to make Christians clean. However, it was not like the bull sacrifice the children of Israel kept offering at the temple to cleanse themselves. (Heb. 10.1-11). Therefore, it is not necessary for us to provide sacrifices as commanded in the old covenant such as circumcision, festivals, various rituals, and Sabbaths. I believe that through the death of Jesus we have a better relationship with God. Jesus has made us clean, and we have the confidence to approach God without feeling guilty because Jesus has made us whole through his body (Heb. 10.19-23).
