Jane Smith inappropriate use of social media, the management wishes to bring to the attention of all employees proper guidelines to using social media. Such actions we condemn as a company is that they are contrary to our social media principles. We established policy while we were in a staff meeting to ensure that we maintain the privacy of all the activities within the company (BRAHMA, 2018). We value our reputation as a newsprint company and should try and portray a picture that will not trivialize our integrity. Such an action to fire is appropriate will apply to all employees who will embrace a similar culture. It has now come to our concern as the management to provide once again vivid guidelines contemporaneous with our company policies to ensure we don’t fall into the situation of Jane.
Analysis
It is imperative that everyone within the company respect the company policies that consider privacy as a matter of grave concern. Discussion of private issues of the company bridges the company act, and we are making it clear to all members that those who will party will face reprisal from the company. We want to advise that whenever we are using the social media, we need to comprehend best practices, company policies and culture (Walden, 2016).
Any form of an action to attack the company as we are all aware will create a bad image and affect the operations of our company (Walden, 2016). You need to understand that we have our shareholders and also those who rely on our services and we need to convince them that we can serve diligently. We should then violate all forms of actions that will create apathy to our close associates. You need to avoid mixing professional and personal matters. Our social media platform is a core objective to improve the company performance and keep in touch with you as our employees.
Conclusion and recommendations
When we are careful to observe proper use of social media and our office practices, then I am sure you will be a victim of dismissal (BRAHMA, 2018). We value all our employees, and in case there is a problem we will always be ready to resolve the issue. Don’t be a victim of social media venting deploy all that is necessary to appropriate use of the social media.
Therefore it is imperative to turn such a negative experience from Jane into strengths that will ensure we don’t bridge our policies. The following are some viable recommendations for to consider:
When using the social media try to be polite when in a conversation and try to be constructive in all your posts (BRAHMA, 2018). Any offensive discussion will be liable for company reprisal.
All employees should ensure they evaluate their conversations to ensure they are viable and can benefit the company, not personal interests.
Please stay away from violating company policies stipulated within all your contract papers (Walden, 2016). The administration will remove all those who don’t obey the proper social media practices from the company sites.
Kind regards,
Human resource manager
