Abstract
To begin with, children are vital characters adversely affected when parents fight. This is because the absence of love in a family triggers a divided mind in the children’s love between the parents. Some kids may find their dad right and favorable to live with, while others may go on the side of their mother. This violence results in a divided and disunited family. Most probably, the parents will at long last part and the children may either remain with the father or mother. At other times, the siblings may also divide and decide to live with their preferred guardian. Majorly, boys are leading causes of domestic violence in teens, according to the recent research conducted in the USA. Teen dating violence has negative consequences commensurate with the adult domestic violence. Some of the categories of teen domestic violence are sexual, physical, emotional and psychological violence.
Though the separation may have been caused by a petty thing, some children may block their minds and hearts entirely towards one parent’s affection. This will always depend on the side that the kid has taken, or who she/he prefers to be right, responsible, and caring. However, mostly, the children are not in a position to make a proper judgment concerning the disagreement by their parents.

Research Objectives
1. To determine types of domestic violence.
2. To investigate the nature of teens related domestic violence.

3. To examine examples of intimate partner violence.
4. To determine the consequences of domestic violence on children.
Descriptive and observational methods of research will be applied in this study.
Materials: Questionnaire sheets, pens, group reports and past sources on domestic violence will be relied on in the research.
Violence is perceived to be an issue of adults, from a general look. However, this form of abuse is also experienced by the teens especially at their adolescence. This topic can be understood from two angles. First, it can be expounded on the effects of adult violence on teens. And secondly, it can be synthesized by adolescent violence that they experience during their love and dating affairs.
The other case of domestic violence is where we have adolescent violence. It is also called intimate partner violence. This form of violence is entirely based on the relationships and close associations between the girls and boys (Moylan et al., 2010). When a boy abuses a girl sexually by either raping her or coercing her to offer him sexual privileges, the lady is usually left insecure and with much fear. The boy demands sex as if it is his conjugal right and thus, the girlfriend succumbs to the situations. The dread of the consequences after that makes the girl lives in fear. She becomes vulnerable to the risk of being pregnant and victim of sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea, syphilis, and Aids.
The other most dangerous effect in the teen domestic violence is emotional and psychological torture if one is unceremoniously abandoned the other in an already established relationship. Either the girlfriend or the boyfriend can commit this wrong. The effects fall on the other party heavily since it happens contrary to his expectations (Moylan et al., 2010). The victim becomes psychologically and mentally tortured as he/she seeks to mend the already broken relationship.
Therefore, teen dating violence should be addressed in the best way possible to avoid youths from being disoriented to relate and marry. The adolescent violence leaves the affected party is extraordinarily injured and may lack guts to date even when it is appropriate for him/her to approach the opposite gender.
