The development of the social media in the twenty-first century is becoming of great concern to many people. Schools and other learning institutions are where social network most affects students through Facebook and other related social networks. Many students use the media to blackmail themselves and also getting involved in hate speech. Associated students Senate bill is calling for censorship that could shut down the two popular Facebook pages that are “UCSB and UCSB Hook-ups.” However, could it solve the problems that arise from the misuse of social media or it could turn into a violation of human rights. Many students would automatically not support the bill because it could go beyond human rights. It is probable that the bill, if enacted, it would hinder a right to express oneself through a media platform. For instance, if UCSB was going against the violation speech, “it is not easy to put down the page”, said the Dean of students. It is because many other schools are also facing the same situation, and it is amicable for the affected students to handle the situation carefully.
The social media through it is varied networks like Facebook, Twitter Instagram and many more of the like serve an important role today. Children, parents and students use the media for communication and even fulfill their business targets. However, it is confident that the social media has turned into a center of crime today.

For instance, many cases are recorded today by the Federal Bureau of Investigation where many people are fraud through the social media. Some people are sexually abused, and such cases are common in schools where different social pages are built up like the UCSB hook-ups. It is greatly a sad experience to face such a quagmire. Today, most people are part of the social network, but do they take time to evaluate the side effects involved in greatly interacting on the social media? It is a question of concern to the parents whether they monitor their children’s interaction with the social media. It is through lack of restriction to the children that they develop morally decayed speech. The abuse of speech does not necessarily mean misuse of language, but it could also involve the use dubious means to insult others on the network. For instance, it could comprise the use of abusive language to insult other people on their timelines thus bringing about many legal obligations. The legal obligation could affect both the site and the user. It is, therefore, important to note that their two statutes used in expounding the legal liabilities when discussing protection and practice of speech on the social network. For instance, Section 512(c) stated in the Digital Millennium Patent Act it holds into account all those who use indecency in their communication.
In conclusion, protection and practice of speech through the social network in the twenty-first century is a very challenging factor to accomplish. However, it is sensible for parents to take the initiative of training their children to be very responsible citizens. Charity begins at home, what would then happen when parents just look at children irresponsibly? Perhaps they could turn into very notorious perverts. It is also imperative for institutions to restrict some social pages like that the UCSB-hook ups that leave some students victims of rape. Technology is emergently rising to a very supercilious Trilogy; everything is developing into fantastic ideologies. Such improving ideas should not make man tarnish his language by developing an immoral decency in the social media.
