Machismo and verbal abuse

Introduction

In this essay we will see a part of one of the greatest problems that exists and has existed during all time, during the text we will see how this social problem affects globally, we will also see, the abuse of women in all ways that there are, the different ways in which we can prevent this abuse will also be present.

We will also see, machismo in society. The great inequality in most works, the former woman’s loss as a public figure. Developing machismo, is considered an ideology that globally covers several attitudes, beliefs, behaviors and social practices where they put man as an image of superiority, pride, authority and self-sufficiency before the woman.

Developing

The woman since the beginning of the times has suffered from inferiority, isolation (by the social political side), verbal violence, physical violence and others. The man or part of them have thoughts where the woman only serves the home. What is violence against women? Violence against women is an act where women are attacked either verbally, emotional or psychological.

These manifestations are presented through contempt (verbal part), murder, physical or sexual aggressions. What are and what types of violence exist against women? Although it reads unreal, there are various ways to violate a woman. Some of these ways of the majority believe that they are not a type of violence, but they are;since in all these forms there is aggression, oppression and more.

Wait! Machismo And Verbal Abuse paper is just an example!

We women deserve the same treatment that men in all types of scope. One of these types of violence is, psychological violence; This is one of the most common and critical types of violence. Psychological violence occurs when the couple limits women with their decisions or actions, that is, it does not let her choose.

In psychological violence, man tries to manipulate women at their convenience, also includes humiliation, harassment, isolation, restriction even of itself. Economic violence, this occurs when man limits money over women, also occurs when the woman has no right in any of the properties they have in their marriage. This type of violence is one of the most common. In this type the man tries to isolate the woman from having a free life, here the man controls everything the woman wants.

Physical violence occurs at the time the couple causes damage or physical pain leaving bruises, burns and more. To this is also added the shoves, this are also samples of physical aggression. Labor violence, in this type of violence, inequality in jobs, salary and more; Here the woman is denigrated by believing that they are not able to maintain a position as a man would.

Sexual violence entails all forms of sexual contact regardless of whether it is inside or outside of marriage, sexual violence is not only limited to force a woman against her will but to any type of harassment, exploitation, intimidation or abuse. As seen in several of the types of violence that were exposed there are more, yes, there are many ways to attack a woman, forms of corrupting their privacy, their intimacy, their freedom. If we review several of the many surveys that exist on machismo in different parts of the world this would be very long and tired.

Here we will talk and specify how machismo is handled in Ecuador, in our country there are very good laws where they defend Ecuadorian women in a very good way, but unfortunately they stayed on paper, since they are not executed. Ecuadorian with greater vulnerability are indigenous girls and women of the Amazon. According to the news, six out of ten Ecuadorian women report having suffered some type of abuse.

Most of these leave the complaint half. Also, in an account that was made, it was ruled that between 2014 and 2018 in our country there were more than 600 femicides women killed by their partner or ex -partner. Machismo in Ecuador has been increasing silently and brutally, most women in our country must live a hell at home.

Many of these women have the courage to be able to express what happens to them, if they can free themselves from the oppression of their partner, abuse, abuse, harassment, the humiliation that their partners give; These women are willing to start from scratch with a new free life of abuse, but, sadly the other part of women who are abused silent. In Ecuador there are many movements where they help and support women who are or were once violated by some man.

Machismo not only occurs by a couple or ex -partner, on many occasions there is abuse by friends, strangers and even family, who harass and that often reach the point of sexually violating the victim or in another caseThey reach feminicide. How can machismo or violence be prevented from women? While we take into account, machismo is a social problem too big and it is almost something impossible to eliminate, but, it can be prevented, we can take measures to be able to retain it, so that in the future we can live in a world where there is no machismoand there is surprising equality.

It would be too soon to think about eliminating root machismo, since it is very difficult, due to the fact of thoughts and beliefs that prevents us from having a world free from machismo. We have to keep in mind that machismo comes from the beginning of all time and what is something impossibleAble to be able to do exactly the same as a man can do, we have to teach that women and men have the same rights, so that in the future these children are able to use gender equality.

Violence can cause victims depression, anxiety and more, we can avoid this type of violence educating the children and the community that surrounds them, recognize the signals that the victims can transmit through their body with fearsTowards their cohabiting, listening to all who have some inconvenience with their families and having an intervention plan when necessary, that is, intervene when we are really sure that there is some kind of violence.

One of the best ways to counteract gender violence is preventing the origins that may be the cause of the future to produce such violence, this prevention must begin in the early stages of life, where the education of childrenThey promote gender respect and equality.

In Ecuador we need leaders who can focus on projects to completely eradicate violence or at least suppress most of it, we have to keep in mind that not only adult women suffer when there are machismo at home, children (children (children) From the home they perceive all this violence, these children perceive this harassment towards their mother, this in a certain way the brands, it is not good to teach this type of abuse in front of the children, with this we corrupt their innocence of them.

conclusion

In short, we take into account that machismo is a problematic too big, a problem where women are abused, where women are violated and humiliated by the fact of being a woman. How can machismo can be seen is not a topic to take light, machismo steals lives, we must take into account that not only the world changes, we also change, that is why we must change, we must stop behaving like wild.

We must protect ourselves, we must respect the rights of each of the women.  Also human rights and equality between women and men, we have to unmask private violence that in the domestic sphere, a falsely considered space as the safest. Remember that a man does not complete a woman, the woman is born complete, the woman does not need a man to feel complete.

Ecuador is a place very similar to the rest of the world for being carried away by the past, where they discriminated, denigrated and violent go to the woman, this as in the whole world is very punctured, very seen and it is unfortunate that in some men this this to themIt is correct, how I mentioned, the world changes and we with all these and those we have have not done it with him.
