Mental Psychopathy Disorder

It is a mental disorder, especially that characterized by an alteration of character or social behavior and does not entail any intellectual abnormality. The individual has neurological anomalies, mainly in the frontal lobe of the brain, their perceptual and mental functions alter the behavior of the individual.

The concept of psychopathy could not be clearly defined previously, it was actually in 1991 when a more widely acceptable psychopathy description was established by Robert Hare. Of the first conceptualizations used in the sphere of clinical diagnosis came from psychiatrist Pinel, he defined psychopathy as "mania without delirium", configuring as "apparently normal actions, but with strange attacks of anger without being linked to feelings of guilt". The latter would also present a child abuse history, although not in a necessary or relevant way. An important note of this author is that both psychopaths would behave a bit similar, but only one of them, the secondary psychopath, would be susceptible to treatment.

Cleckley assigned a series of significant features in the sphere of psychopathy, some of which shared with others previously designated by Gray and Hutchinson. Likewise, it was understood that the main symptom of psychopathy was the poor affective response towards others.
