Unilever Mission and Vision
Unilever is a company that deals majorly in consumer goods and has branches in various countries around the world. The corporate’s mission statement is “to add validity to life. We meet everyday needs for nutrition; hygiene and personal care with brands that help people feel good, look good and get more out of life.” This mission statement illustrates how the company satisfies consumers in different ways by offering them a wide range of products.
The company’s vision statement is “to make sustainable living commonplace. We believe this is the best long-term way for our business to grow”. This vision statement shows the company’s focus to have the best long-term business growth by creating commonplace sustainable living among customers.
The mission and vision statement have played an effective role and acted as the pillar for the company’s priorities and principles. The company has partnered with various international organizations such as the FDI World Dental Federation and World Food Programme. These partnerships have enabled the company to market and get support for their products. For example, Close-Up and Signal encourage children to brush their teeth daily for good dental health. The company also started the Together for Child Vitality initiative to help children in some of the poor countries in the world with their nutrition. The company’s innovation has seen it come up with products that are healthy for the consumers such as the Flora margarine brand that has been proven by scientists to help lower cholesterol levels.
