Degree Objective: B.A. in Social Science/Criminal Justice

Criminal Justice has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I have a strong desire to make the world a better and safer place. My field of study and my future career was chosen to answer this conviction. I believe the Criminal Justice program at the University of Bridgeport can help me achieve my goals.

I’ve been successful during my time in Albertus Magnus College’s Criminal Justice program, gaining 36 hours in three semesters. The research experience I’ve gained has been invaluable. It has been a wonderful, enriching experience. However, your university is better suited to my future desires as a student. Your honor societies, courses in martial arts and foreign languages, and the faculty are among the many reasons you could fulfill my needs as a student and a future criminal justice professional.

It would be my greatest joy to be a part of the University of Bridgeport’s Criminal Justice program. My study at Albertus Magnus College, though extremely beneficial up to this point, is no longer the best fit for my future as a criminal justice professional. Your university is a top-100 school, and your criminal justice program’s honor societies and faculty are highly competitive. I believe that I can contribute to the continued excellence of such a splendid program. My goal is to use my experience and what I learn at the University of Bridgeport to make the world a better and safer place.
