Pediatric Trauma
Pediatric trauma remains to be one of the major contributors to deaths among children. Children are more likely to be predisposed to trauma due to their changing levels of maturity and nature of being explorers. It’s therefore important to study pediatric trauma because injuries on children could lead to disabilities which pose a huge financial burden on the victim’s family. In addition, the study enables one to learn preventive strategies that can reduce the occurrences of pediatric trauma (Shook et al., 2016). The paper explores the importance of studying pediatric trauma, the impact the topic has had on me and how the research has changed my previous opinions on the topic.
Reflection
Based on my research, I believe that the intensive studying of Pediatric trauma is vital since it helps reduce medical errors that occur due to misdiagnosis. Most healthcare providers often confuse airway obstruction in a trauma patient with chronic diseases of the respiratory system (Shook et al., 2016). Therefore, by understanding the topic one can provide a proper diagnosis which will lead to the right treatment. Besides, the topic has made me value the need of providing psychological care on the management of stress in both the injured child and their family. This aids in recovery process both medically and emotionally. Moreover, I have been able to understand how to manage child’s pain with trauma as pain needs to be controlled when one is injured and during the period of care.

Wait! pediatric trauma paper is just an example!

My research on pediatric trauma has both changed and strengthened my opinion regarding the topic. Previously, I thought that pediatric trauma was only caused by accidents but to my surprise, even child abuse can lead to these injuries. I have also learned the importance of checking and advising both the victim and their family on post-traumatic stress reactions.

To be honest, I hate writing. That’s why when my professor assigned me with coursework, I just took the easy way out and hired StudyZoomer to assist me. I’m absolutely satisfied with the result, no flaws.
