Czech PM Corruption allegations
The coalition government in the Czech Republic has survived in the vote of no confidence to oust the Prime Minister who was implicated of the Money fraud scandal. The majority only saw 92 opposition legislatures supporting the motion out of the required 101 votes to topple Babis. Babis faces charges of squandering 2.5 million dollars subsidy which was to be given to a luxury resort and farm (Heijmans para5). It is claimed that he transferred the money to his relatives and Andrej who is a son to him. The chairman of the opposition was harsh about the issue and told advised the MPs in government to only support leaders who practice ethics and not those without morals in their leadership positions.
As the opposition leaders were calling the Prime Minister to step down through the vote, the communist party voted in favor of Babis while the MPs’ from the opposition side voted against and some even abstained from voting claiming that due to the large number the ruling party they still going to win. The leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party lamented over this matter, and he assured the public of a serious police investigation over the allegations of Babis (Press Associated para 3). He talked to the reporters whom he also confirmed that he would make sure that the claim is probed as required. Yes, they differ in the report of the news; the difference is that as Al Jazeera provides the detailed news including the amount of money frauded to be 2.

5 million dollars and what some of the opposition leaders say about the issue, Washington Post only says that millions of money were frauded by Prime minister without specifying the amount. The Washington post do no also provide all the grievances supplied by the opposition MPs.
