A. Nursing Theory

The error can happen by giving an overdose, wrong medication or even giving medication via the wrong method. Medication errors can have devastating effects on the patient and can cause death.

There are different provisions for the nurses to follow during the administration of the drug. The caregivers have to know the different provisions to protect the patients from such errors.
