THE INTERIOR TRUTH: two me

Daniel Kahneman, psychologist and Nobel Prize in Economics in 2002, in his famous Ted Talk The Riddle of Expererience vs, Memory warns that we are wrong when thinking about the concept of happiness. There are cognitive illusions that deceive us and make our memories not as unequivocal as we really believe.

The difficulty in distinguishing the experiences of their memories, is a huge cognitive trap and part of the problem of the notion of happiness. Our experiences can give us a dimension of our well -being;If we have intrapersonal, economic, labor, etc. But our memories will not be considered happier for the experiences that we have enjoyed, for having or not what is supposed to provide us with happiness, but for how we register and convert those experiences into stories into stories. You could say that when we talk about ourselves we have to divide our self into two aspects: the I experience and the I remember. (Kahneman, 2012; Kahneman, 2010).

Our present, lives it, knows and reasons the self that experiences, but many of the activities that experience are not registered in memory. We do not remember exactly how we dress to go to college a week before the alarm state. However, if we remember and recall those nights in the bars and terraces, with the crowded streets of people and friends, the walks with your partner through the city … This I who records and orders our life is the self that remembers. In these times of isolation, our self that remembers, persistently tells us, again and again, stories and stories of our free life, without confinement.

Wait! The Interior Truth: Two Me paper is just an example!

In these days in which we are plunged into uncertainty and solitude, it is more painful to remember what we can no longer do. We idealize our memories and suppress what we hated from our past. I must admit that even I lived with affliction to know that we would not return to university. To think that on Saturdays they would not make sense because every day would be Monday, that he was not going to walk again through the huge corridor of the library until he found a free place, nor have a beer with my friends when leaving an exam. Remembering this hurt. Instead, six weeks ago I was tedious to have to get up early to go to class, make long lines to get notes in copy shop and lose the 5 minutes of rest that I had left. So what depends on what we evoke is positive or negative?

I need to work a lot; that’s why I really didn’t have a single minute to focus on my thesis writing. These guys from Essay-samples are real saviors. I don’t know how they knew what my professor expected to receive, but they definitely succeeded.
