The Language
There are two hypotheses which explain the origin of language. First, different societies believe that language is a gift from the gods to humans. Christian believes that the first human being was given the power to name the animals during creation. This demonstrates that human being has an inborn power to use language from creation. The early man had a language equivalent to the modern languages in the world. However, the language used by the early tribes was a form of sounds and symbols unlike the speech used by human beings today. Also, there is no evidence of the existence of a primitive language in the history of human beings.
The second hypothesis explains that the language in use today evolved naturally during the evolution process of man. Scientists elucidate that human beings developed a more powerful brain that made them learn and invent things. Furthermore, the simple vocalizations and gestures were inherited from the primates to the modern language after a few centuries (Vajda 40). The hypothesis continues to explain that, as soon as humans developed the capacity to use language creatively, it prompted the development of culture which is closely tied to the language.
However, the evolution hypothesis cannot also be proved as the archaeological evidence gathered indicates there is a huge difference between the early man and the modern human being. This raises the question of whether the success of the modern species could have been as a result of the successful use of language.

The argument is based on the fact that speaking human beings could teach, plan, and convey complex information to the other human beings in their daily interacts.
