Introduction
The Musee de la liberation is a military museum that is Paris, France. The museum is open every day except on Sundays with free admission. It was created in memory of Ordre de la liberation. The museum is composed of six rooms and three galleries that are comprised of showcases which contain more than 3,500 objects used by the military.
The Study of Objective
The primary objective of learning was to resolve how the Musee de la liberation building will be converted into a student dormitory. The core objectives of the scope were to establish the available metro, gyms, RER, library, gaming room, basketball pitch, events or any of the facilities that will be necessary for the students.
Significance of the study
The importance of the study will be significant to the students and relevant to the staff. The results of the study will be important in determining the new vision of the Musee de la liberation on what to do by choosing the building to be used for a student dorm renovation.
Students
The outcomes of the research will shed more light to students that comply with the idea of the Musee de la liberation being converted into a dormitory (Levisse-Touze, 2001). It will open the student’s mind and enable them understands the creativity of renovation.
Staff
The study will bring out essential skills that will enable the team to understand the structure and architect of the renovated design of the student dorm.

Research methodology
The research design is the core description and declaration of the vast research approach or looms for the undertaking. It is vividly clear for a natural understanding of the characteristics that are associated with it. The detailed design is required to understand the nature of the topic in the discussion about a museum being converted into a student’s dorm. The objective was purposely directed to the determination of a new vision on the building and why the selection of the Musee de la liberation building.
Train (RER, Mainline, and Metro)
At the Centre de documentation, the room will be used as the waiting stations for students relaxing as they expect for means of communication. Considering the dense train network in France, each type of train will have a specific purpose to and from the student dormitory. The room to be occupied will be 16’ by 12’. The table sizes will take 96’ (8’) by 48 W. The RER will be used for traveling to other parts not within the new student’s dormitory, for instance, Disneyland or any other location. not within the Musee de la liberation buildings. This will be effective since the RER cover extensive distances within a minimum of time (Levisse-Touze, 2001). However, it will have to be well known for students that the ticket price will be a little higher as compared to Metro.
At the documentation, the room will be accessing the Metro lines since they are an ideal form of getting around. A student will have to wait for a little bit longer, for instance, 3 to six minutes in the waiting room with consideration of the time of day and line for the students. However, students are requested to avoid this on peak hours since they are usually crowded. The Metro will be unfit between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. or between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Due to the crowded passengers who will be waiting in the documentation room, it is notably evident that there will be pickpockets hence students will be required to be on the look. The Mainline will be used to visiting towns far away from the new student dormitory. The terms of fare price will depend on the route covered as time is usually a key factor.
Gym
On Etage 1, there will be the health and fitness room which will be a stand-alone facility. The gym will have the impact of site contours and shape on the building orientation and location. This will occupy the salle d’exposition temporaire et de conference, the (temporary exhibition hall and conference). Students will be using the passage couvert acces a al gare to connect between the two rooms occupied on the floor. The rooms will occupy as an average size of 18 by 12’10. It will have welcoming, labeled, defined, and attractive entrance. The parking lot will be required to have emergency and service vehicles with tight security that caters for new trends and activities. The students’ gym will include a dedicated training unit for a sport, a self-contained public facility that balances other indoor sports. The room will have a reception desk and staff offices at the entrance where students will be registering for coming in and moving out. A fitness area will be alongside a studio and a health suite on the same row (Levisse-Touze, 2001).
A wet change, dry change, and the showers will be the same column with the pool hall with a possible view from the swimming pool. Due to the changing market in exercise and fitness, aerobics will be required to combine with other activities such as dance, boxing or martial art. With such considerations, the gym will have a studio for classes such as legs, bums, and Tums that require rethinking and light-weight equipment. It will have spinning classes that generate a lot of noise to stimulate enthusiasm from the additional music and lighting. Pilates will be used for conditioning exercises and stretch to build core strength, flexibility, and improvement of posture for students through the small repetitive movements in the gym rooms. Yoga will be a tranquil exercise provided based on meditation, breathing, and body positions. The studio will be required to have a good acoustic differentiation for a quiet concentration. A space for the dance aerobics will be implemented for learning basic dancing moves, fun, and exercises in the gym rooms..
Library
On the 1st floor (Rez-de-chaussee), the dormitory library will occupy the Musee Du Marechal LECLFRC. The library for students will begin with designing space that will be user-defined for students to reconfigure a space per needs. The library will cover a space of 18 by 12 with an average size of 121’’ (10’) by 48’’ W. Flexibility will be manifested in customizable and movable, non-permanent furnishing and whiteboard partitions. The design and layout preferences will be from a project to the next. The design of the available learning space will be an individual like a snowflake in the rooms. Considering a view from the exterior, there will be no similar projects that will look remotely similar in the facade, sitting or shape. The library will be arranged as an ultra-modern learning centre. The spaces will be designed for students to use technologies and work together in accessing information and sharing information, innovation, brainstorming, and practice presentations.
The collaborative learning spaces will be manifested in small groups meeting rooms, furnishings, and active learning rooms. The interdisciplinary learning needs will cover a wide range of fields from technology, engineering, medicines, law, mathematics, and art and humanities. The room spaces will be configurable with moving furnishing which will be supporting the changing needs (Levisse-Touze, 2001). The library will encourage active learning to engage in solving problems with engagements and discovery. The library will be welcoming due to the inviting and intuitive spaces both at areas of collaborative learning and the entry point.
Events
Events will be held in the Musee Jean Moulin room. The events room will be scheduled to reservation procedures when groups enter the room. Its average size will be 16’ by 12’. The events room will only be reserved by the use of the Oracle calendar server. A room wizard will be installed at the room entrance to record and show every detail of students in the room and at what time. The wizard in the rooms will also include green and red lights that will be visible from far to indicate whether the room is engaged or not. The rooms display will be used to show information concerning the current happening events or displaying that the room is available for usage. If a room is not in use before 19 minutes of the scheduled meeting time, anyone else will be allowed to use the room. A “use now” button at the room’s entrance can be pressed after the 19 minutes after the waiting period has expired. It will then display as being in operation or use in the rooms’ Oracle calendar and the wizard display. Furniture will not be allowed from the events rooms without authorization from the relevant authority. The room will be equipped with a projection screen, data projector, and a laptop umbilical. Besides, it will have a conference phone, VCR cart, wireless microphones, and a portable data projector. The room conference phones can be reserved by the SCS help desk and the video conferencing capability will be accessed through the touch of the panel podium.
Gaming room
In the first floor (1 er Etage), the salle liberation de Paris will host the gaming room. The gaming room will be used for spending time. It will play a substitute role for garners when peers are not present. The gaming room will cover an average size of 12 by 18. Students will integrate gaming into their daily activities by taking time between classes to socialize in the gaming room. The room activities will be integrated into the dormitory leisure time and other entertainment forms by playing games, interacting and listening to music. The room will be equipped and installed with television sets including Xbox, Nintendo, and Sega (Levisse-Touze, 2001). The gaming room will be equipped with computers for post-dinner and lunch games as refreshment activities for students. The games to expect will include solitaire, billiards, poker, and crossword puzzles. The students will access realistic graphics, interactivity, interactivity, arcade games, and racing as the most interesting games. Online gaming is growing fast as an entertainment sport, however, with social isolation, gaming addiction, or emerging violence. The room will be installed with the internet since students must use it as adopters of new technology.
Garden
On the outside part behind the bureau, space will provide a good location due to the morning sunlight and the afternoon shade. Rooty and green flowers will tolerate the partial shade due to the rob fertility. The garden will be divided into different phases with different soil. Self-prepared, synthetic, or purchased soil will be used. The garden layout will be sketched with consideration of the flowers and vegetation that will be grown depending on their climate durability.
Basketball court
The basketball court will occupy the Musee Leclerc room. The court will be measured in 5 feet from the left to the hoop. With the guidance of chalk, the court will be marked in the outside edge of the court aligned to a 5 feet mark on either side. This will be followed by the numbered illustration of tapes marked with sections. Finally, the court will be painted carefully from sketched marks with tips and techniques.
The new vision for the dormitory with privacy will allow students spend their free time peacefully. Single rooms will be allocated regarding seniority with occasional exceptions among female and freshmen students. This will lead to the achievement of closeness among students. Open doors in rooms will be facing the opposite wall due to ventilation and room temperature (Levisse-Touze, 2001). Dining rooms will be available to those cooking their meals for the togetherness eating experience. The Musee de la liberation was the best building for a dormitory due to its good aesthetics. The building allows for ocular permeability, creates a point of interest, and facilitates air movement. The distinguishing frontage in the upper part of the building enhances interest at the street level. Besides that, the landscaping initiatives and streets beautification such as the provision of street furniture, greening, and the street paving enhances attraction to the environment. This will integrate the approach of transport-planning and land use.
Conclusion
In conclusion, a good dormitory requires a sustainable and clean environment which will be beneficial to the well-being and health of students. The ascending economic prosperity will contribute to the growth of energy and waste consumption. The good pedestrian environment with well-marked pavements will help in enlarging the catchment of the trains and their rail stations hence reducing the need to road usage. The dormitory will at the end succeed in serving its students with efficiency and effectiveness.
