Why I Chose Waterloo
I chose mathematics as my program. Mathematics is what I like and have been enjoying the subject so much. Mathematics is useful in daily operations. Using mathematics, the economy of a country is determined and viable advice given to authorities based on the calculations. I feel motivated to provide solutions to such problems that need mathematical skills and knowledge. The University of Waterloo is known for providing the best mathematics program in Canada. I, therefore, chose The University of Waterloo because my wish is to get the quality education in mathematics.
My educational goal is to get a better education. Once I have the excellent education, I will be able to assist people who need help. My goal can only be achieved if I acquire enough skills and knowledge that is helpful in solving problems that the society faces. Mathematics program requires dedication and passion. My interest in mathematics persuades me to apply for the program. To me, mathematics is like a calling. Therefore my dream is to study mathematics in my life, and I believe that The University of Waterloo will help me achieve my objectives.
The University of Waterloo is the best at teaching mathematics in Canada. The Faculty of mathematics was ranked 20th in the 2015 worldwide universities QS mathematics rankings. Graduate students from The University of Waterloo department of mathematics have an advantage because the department of mathematics has close links with faculties such as computational mathematics in industry, Commerce, Science, Engineering, center for theoretical physics, the center for mathematical medicine, the Institute for Quantum Computing and Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology.

Therefore, I will graduate from the University with vast knowledge and skills which will help me solve many problems.
