The World Health Organization estimates that, in America, there are 770 new daily cases due to occupational diseases, in Chile the increase is 8% in 2018, as indicated by the Social Security Superintendence, exposure to noise generates lossof auditory capacity or harmful effects such as tinnitus, considered as the sensation of buzzing in the ears, which generates social isolation.

Scientists, experts and numerous national and international official agencies, as Regional Health Secretariats in Chile, World Health Organization, the European Economic Community, or the Higher Council for Scientific Research, among others, have unanimously declared that noise hasvery harmful effects on health. 

These damages vary from physiological disorders, such as the progressive loss of hearing, considering a severe social disadvantage, to psychological, by producing irritation and tiredness that cause dysfunctions in everyday life, as in work performance. These studies and results reveal the importance and need to promote other means and habits in the awareness of the use of their hearing protection elements. 

Therefore, the implementation of a visual traffic light is viable, in the Agro Process company, where workers, external personnel, visits, the noise level to which they are exposed, as a way to aware in a visual way theUse of auditory protectors.  To do this, a noise traffic light will be designed and manufactured, which will be developed, using Arduino with codes believe in Spain, but adapting them to the Chilean regulations of the permissible sound pressure levels, to be in the work area both in industrial companies,construction, manufacturing, roads, etc.

High noise levels are associated with hearing loss, however, workers who are exposed to high noise doses, for fear of losing their jobs, support and remain in critical conditions. Another factor to take into account is related not only to auditory loss but with a decrease in concentration capacity, whose consequence is reflected in the performance of work activities and their constant irritability.

The noise is considered as one of the main risk factors involved in hearing loss as job disease, for this reason it is considered that auditory loss is the fifteenth most serious health problem in the world. No person is immune to noise, although we apparently adapt ignoring it, the truth is that the ear always captures it, and the body always reacts, sometimes with extreme tension.

The exposure of workers in workplaces, due to their adaptation capacity, is common for this to be able to perceive their hearing resistance limits, which finally causes damage in a silent, increasing and cumulative way according to thetime and noise levels to which it is exposed, in the productive sectors there are numerous tasks that produce noise.
