Its etiology is unknown and its appearance occurs spontaneously, being one of the most feared and respected diseases by our population, due to the irreversibility of its process and that there is no cure, which makes it one of the main problems ofHealth, worldwide. For this reason the role of nursing, is one of the essential tools when treating both the patient with Alzheimer’s and the main caregiver, supporting them and providing help in any requirement that takes place.

At present, Alzheimer’s information is scarce and is presented in a fragmented way. For this reason the objective of this work is to unify the information and those important aspects related to this disease. In addition, this work will also evaluate, the role of nursing, making an integral assessment not only of the patient with Alzheimer’s.

Taking into account the need to determine the role of the caregiver in patients with Alzheimer’s. We have set out to collect all relevant information in order to contribute and increase the knowledge that the caregiver has in relation to the patient with Alzheimer’sYour caregiver.

Problem Statement

Alzheimer’s is one of the main causes of disability and dependence between older adults not only around the world but also in our country.
