Analysis of Factoids
According to the reading, it is clear that it was legal to deny the various political leaders a chance to vie or rather to hold political offices because of dual citizenship. The reason behind this is that in many democracies when one has dual citizenship, they are not allowed to hold any state position. The case of Anne Aly is legally acceptable because the Member of Parliament has dual citizenship. The fact that Aly was born in Egypt makes her have Egyptian citizenship by default (Burgett and Glenn 41). As such, according to the Australian law, Aly is not allowed to hold any governmental position until she denounces the Egyptian citizenship.
For the case of Jason Falinski, he is not also allowed by the government to hold his parliamentary position. This is because he holds dual citizenship. He is part Polish and part Australian and therefore he is not allowed to vie or hold any governmental position. According to Falinski’s case, it is clear that the letter addressed to the Australian government by the Polish government indicates that Falinski is not a Polish citizen. From the letter and response by Turnbull who is the prime minister of Australia, Falinski can now be allowed to vie since his case has been clarified and he is legally an Australian citizen.
From Falinski and Aly’s case, it is clear that citizenship can be achieved through various ways. Births and registration are the main ways through which citizenship is acquired (Burgett and Glenn 44).

Wait! Analysis Of Factoids paper is just an example!

The two political leaders obtained their dual citizenship through birth as well as registration. Aly was born in Egypt, therefore, she became a citizen of the country by virtue of naturalization. She was born and raised in Australia a factor that made her register as a citizen of the country as she went to school in the country and all her documents indicate that she is a citizen. On the other hand, Falinski was born in Poland, and therefore he got Polish citizenship by naturalization. As well, he has lived, and through legal documentation and approval, he has gained An Australian citizenship.
