Regarding psychology is the discipline that focuses on analyzing the behavior and mental processes of each human being, try to describe and explain all aspects of thought, feelings, perceptions and human actions. Taking these little definitions of science and psychology into account, we will develop each of them more thoroughly and explaining the relationship between them.

Science is the grouping of exact knowledge obtained by observing regular patterns, reasoning and experimentation in particular areas of which questions are generated, hypotheses are generated, principles are deduced and general laws and methodically organized schemes are produced. There are several types of science classification we will talk about social science whose objective is linked to the behavior of human beings. (Merino, 2009) points out that “the social sciences, analyze the manifestations of society, both material and symbolic. They can be divided into those dedicated to the study of the evolution of societies (archeology, history), social interaction (economy, sociology) or the cognitive system (psychology, linguistic) ””

Psychology is recognized as a social science which is studied the behavior and mental processes of human beings, relations with the physical and social environment. The objectives of psychology is to understand the processes of the mind of the human being, being so that they have different approaches and methodologies with specific objectives with respect to consciousness, thought and learning. (Oswaldo, 2015) states that “psychology strives to change, influence or control the behavior of making constructive and durable changes in people’s lives, from the treatment of mental illnesses to improve human well -being, the change of thehuman behavior is a great focus of psychology."

Psychology begins as a science when they find in man an object of knowledge such as behavior, which can be known objectively, this is how the scientific demands. There are a variety of psychologies that have a scientific character among them is experimental psychology where they knew how to use animals for their experimentation and thus take the conclusions to humans. Another of them is social psychology, since it studies in a controlled way the phenomena that occur within a group.
