In the following work we will be addressing the art of Greek culture, which includes architecture, music and its importance. We will be analyzing the way in which the Greeks presented it, the impact that this has had on other cultures, and how this has today influenced.

Greek art was the basis and inspiration of Western artistic culture, it was responsible for the invention of forms that embody the ideal of beauty. The great production, which emanates from the centers located throughout the Greek Empire, which is composed of works of fundamental importance which were created by very talent artists.

There is nothing excessive in Greek art, especially the one that represents human beings. In addition, central Greek concepts such as destiny, divine providence and need are found in the arts.

The search for the ‘absolute’: classical Greek sculptors did not use specific individuals as models for their statues. They did not want to represent this nose or that cheek, but rather to illustrate the form of an ideal human being, that is, something absolute.

Political importance: democracy and rights that guarantees (equality, freedom of expression) was one of the main reasons behind Greek classic art. Monuments and artifice, such as the part, and literary works also illustrate the political ideology of different times and cities-states. Already in the ninth to VII A. When talking about architecture we can say that in ancient Athens, Pericles ordered the construction of several important temples in the acropolis. Among these was a temple, the part, which many consider the best example of Greek architecture.

Built as a tribute to Athena, the goddess of wisdom for which the city-state of Athens was named, the part is a wonder of design, with mass columns that contrast with subtle details.
