For Aristotle, the education of young people is an important factor to take into account within a society, since for all faculties a previous education is required. And this is essential for both personal development and that of a city.

And not only values education but also games and leisure, knowing how to introduce them and monitoring the time of timely use, with a clear objective, that serve man as medicine.

Any work that deprives the man of fun and leisure is tired and tired, so it requires desicious, tranquility and pleasure. This pleasure can be achieved in different ways, but the main one spoken in this chapter is, music.

On the other hand, the legislator is the person who has the obligation to carry out the action of educating young people and regulating is. And within each city or society, education must adapt to the different regimes.

But although it adapts to the different regimes, education must be unique and the same for all citizens, with a clear purpose: create noble and good men. To do this, divide the educational plan into periods depending on the age of the person, but always giving great importance to the power of music.

Music will be considered part of that leisure and fun of free men, but can also be part of education. This, helps relaxation and reassuring, but it can also be a matter of study, and that all art has its own utility.

Therefore, it is considered by Aristotle as a vital element in education, since it encourages virtue and contributes to training and purification, in addition to fun and intelligence cultivation.

It also gives importance to gymnastics for the body, but insists that you should not work hard at the same time with the mind and body, since opposite results will occur.

It should be taken into account how to use music, since there are different melodies and rhythms that not all cause man the same feelings.

Within the melodies it is distinguished between ethical, practical and enthusiastic melodies, and each of them is attributed a peculiar way. This should not be done because of a single benefit. Of course, all melodies must be used, but not all must be used in the same way. For education insists that ethical melodies and doric mode should be used. In addition to young people must practice in the formation and execution of music themselves, to subsequently be able to judge it.

And not only the musician gives his learning for the subsequent relaxation, but must offer a show for the rest of other men.

Then each individual must take into account within their possibilities: the possible and the convenient.
