Article Critique on The character of football: a few miscreants do not represent the NFL
The journal “The character of football: a few miscreants do not represent the NFL” talks about how football is a threat to the security of the players and the society as a whole. Several examples of cases that have resulted from athletes have been cited in the article to indicate the relationship between the regulations in the management of football leagues as and the rate of crimes experienced in the society. Ian Tuttle explores the violence that results from the players who get trained under the poor coaching and play under league management that lacks concern for the welfare and conduct of the players (Ian, 2015). The paper shall indicate the main points that Ian outlines in the article and conclude with a critique of the same article. The author goes ahead to argue that a small representation of the conduct of the players does not conclude that the whole National Football League (NFL) is rotten. In any neutral society, there is a need for equality among all gender races to reduce violence cases. Lawsuits should be applied to sound a warning to the perpetrators of violence.
The author indicates that if soccer allows players to commit violence in the pitch are like to commit domestic violence of abusing their children and beating up their wives. Blumstein found out that the violence committed by NFL players summed up to half the total violence cases that were reported.

Wait! Article Critique on The character of football: a few miscreants do not represent the NFL paper is just an example!

The National Organization for Women argues that there are no enough measures taken by NFL to reduce the rate of violence. The same NFL faced a lawsuit from football players who claimed that the association ignored the risks of injuries that football players are exposed.
The issue of brain and neurological imbalances arises as a result of the rough sporting activities. A good example includes the case of Dave Duerson, who was a superstar committed suicide under unclear circumstances in which he left a notice that his brain was to be used by Boston University for testing (Ian, 2015). Another cause of the whole problem is the kind of coach that leads players during training. Gladwell argues that exposing players to bad playing modes prepares the psychological mind of the players to have less concern about the effect they may cause to another player when they injure them.
From the article, it is evident that playing professionally will reduce the risks that players face in a game. Safety and attention on how players play will not provide a clear solution when coaches prefer becoming a celebrity instead of playing a good game for people to enjoy. Observing the virtues in a game is likely to enable players to enjoy their retired time rather than playing roughly in the name of winning and harming their bodies and those of their opponents when they turn football into something like rugby.
The argument about the idea of NFL having taken no initiative on the domestic violence of women by the players sounds illogical. The NFL has less power on a retired player as they only monitor the conduct of a player who is still appearing in the field. There are better ways of ensuring gender equality to prevent domestic violence at all cost.
There is an idea of wearing safety attires during the game to safeguard the players. It can be efficient when players can get psychological training to go the field with an ethical mind of playing an enjoyable game that observes all the guides relating to the game. Coaches are blamed for misguidance to their players (Ian, 2015). The coaches undergo training before they can practice as qualified team managers. NFL needs to take stiff penalties and disciplinary actions to both managers and players that are prone to the violation of the field rules. Hatred should not be developed among players since football is a game just like any other that purposes for entertainment and leisure. Those players who involve themselves in misconduct activities violate the name of the NFL since they represent the football fraternity. The large percentage of crimes and domestic violence reported are done by players hence indicating that the leagues have much to do to reduce these malpractices.
