WHAT IS IT

A multiple pregnancy is the simultaneous development of two or more fetuses in the uterus, this pregnancy is the result of the fertilization of two or more ovules, or when a single ovule is fruitful and this is divided into two or more, giving rise to fetusesgenetically identical. Monozygotic twins

CAUSES

These technologies often use medications that stimulate ovulation to produce several ovules, which are then fertilized in the laboratory and return to the uterus to develop. (Health, 2019)
