The attorney should observe rules of professional conduct in the discharge of his duties. It is his role and responsibility to ensure that confidential information related to the client does not leak to the media or the general public. The legal rules demand that a lawyer should never reveal confidential information related to the client (Burke 7). Also, it is not prudent for the lawyer to disadvantage the client by leaking his secrets. A lawyer should not also assist his fellow lawyer in a way that will disadvantage the client. In this case, confidential information refers to client’s information that is protected by the law.
In legal terms, a secret refers to privileged information that is only accessible to the lawyer based on his relationship with the client. The lawyer and the client has a professional relationship that should be held inviolate based on the agreement (Burke 97). The attorney’s code of conduct demands that disclosing the client’s information to the media or the general public would be embarrassing to both the client and the legal profession. The leaked secrets could be highly detrimental to the client.
However, an attorney may reveal a client’s secret information if the situation demands. The secrets and confidential information may be reasonably necessary. For example, such information may be useful in preventing bribery. Also, the information would also be vital regarding preventing intimidation of jurors, court officials, and witnesses (Burke 101).

Wait! Attorney Confidentiality paper is just an example!

When a client misuses the legal services of an attorney to commit a fraud and crime, the lawyer could be obligated to reveal the secrets and confidential information concerning him. An attorney could prevent the client from committing the fraud or crime when he reveals the confidential or secret information.

First of all, I want to say that these guys have pretty affordable prices. I asked them to write a compare-and-contrast essay and was really impressed with the final cost and, what is even more important, the level of quality.
