Cognitive theory has been used to enhance a better understanding of the personal structure as explained in the context. “It embraces an inner division between intellect and functioning of senses”. Experience is deemed most basic stage for every human cognition which contains the element of intellect and visual contents in which it forms the origin of understanding process. The personal structure of self-determination analysis is comprised of the experience of human action and moral experience in which the two are indispensable. Self-determination is defined in the context of human experience action, as a sense of efficacy where one accepts as the efficient cause of their actions.
The sense of efficacy for a personal self is directly connected by a sense of responsibility of any activity. On the other hand, regarding the experience of morality, self-determination is deemed as the content of an act in axiological and ethical terms. The magnitude of self-determination is significantly influenced by the maturity level of an individual. The more your experience of self-determination is pronounced and awareness becomes one’s efficacy and responsibility as well. “Self-determination generally can be defined as the volitional actions people do take based on one’s will, conscious, choice and decision that is intentional”. Thus, it cannot cause a conflict of motives and a struggle within an individual.

To understand oneself in line to vertical transcendence, one needs to possess oneself and embrace self-control as well. The individual transcendence depicts the freedom that one possesses which the motor and source of dynamism as well. Vitality is viewed to play internally within a man who in time translate itself to an act. In inference to that, self-determination is very imperative to a person in which it has fulfilled his existential fate wished by the person.
