AbstractThis study aims to answer the following aspects related to Black women teenagers; the kind of experiences that are reported in school, what it means to be racially discriminated as a black girl in her teenage and finally can the experiences and opinions give concrete information for educational reforms in school. The evaluation and assessment of the 18 participants proved that racism could be defined in association to prejudice, biased treatment, and discrimination among many others. Most of the females interviewed cited their experiences of racism explained that in most insects they experienced a series of unfairness, prejudice and biased treatment in school which included low instructors expectations, labels as well as stereotypes. Black feminist thought, critical race theory, and feminism were utilized as conceptual frameworks. Finally, the impacts for high school education instructor education and need for reforms are further discussed in the article. The results retrieved indicated that there were 9/18 of the participants who had ever experienced racial discrimination. The Bridge Girls High school showered that 60 percent of the girls had ever been through racial experiences where as that of Summit was at 50 percent.

The research technique that was utilized in this study entailed interviews and surveys that showered that most of the definitions of racism were mainly focused on discrimination, prejudice, and biased treatment.
In the results, it was found nine out of the eighteen participants were found to have racism ever in their institutions. At Bridge High School, the girls exposed to have undergone through racial experiences were 60 percent while that at Summit were 50 percent. More so, the students at Ridge were recorded to have experienced more intense (Joseph et al., 2016). This was attributed to the fact that there was massive segregation in this school. Two of the participants were the only ones who had not experienced any racial discrimination — the research aimed at ascertaining the presence of bias, prejudice, and biased treatment. From the findings, regular people can deliberate on some of the actions that can be taken to do away with racial discrimination.
The definition that was given to Black girl racism is that it was deemed as different treatment of the blacks contrary to how the rest of the races were given a reception. On the other hand, Tallah gave it the definition that it entailed an unfavorable view, feelings or attitude to another group of individuals who were of a different race. Besides, there have been issues of discrimination over the years, and the techniques that have been put in place that are aimed at doing away with racism have proved futile. Thus, schools can form a reasonable basis on which racism segregation can be done away with since the children at this age can easily be tamed.
The experimental design utilized in this research was the interviewing of the white females in a view to avail a comparison on the experiences on racism that is different from what the black women experienced (Joseph et al., 2016). It also avails more concrete conclusions and also allowed comprehension as to whether other elements contributed to racial discrimination in black female adolescents.
The independent variable in this study is the black female adolescents while the dependent variable entails the girls in Bridge girls’ high school and Summit. The participants in this research were 18 in total. They were selected from two schools, which are Summit and Ridge who were either in their junior or senior year in school (Joseph et al., 2016). Also looked into whether they were the first to graduate from high school in their families or were the first to join college.
The sample was drawn from two different high schools located in Southwestern U.S, one of the largest urban district. The population selected was well inclusive of the larger community since it was obtained from different high schools and was recorded throughout two years. Finally, the limitations that can be drawn from this study is that the sample size is quite minimal and the instruments used might need upgrading in future researches that would avail much reliable and valid black girl’s views concerning racism in schools (Joseph et al., 2016). This way it will allow for a larger sample size to be analyzed as well as aid in the thought of making general view across all populations. The interview focused on a small group thus could not meet national comparatives.
