Strategist:
Name:
Institutional Affiliation:
After a careful consideration of the position of our company in the market, I have decided that it is necessary to create another job position. I have conducted an external research, looked at other organizations on how they operate and decided that I will create a senior position of a strategist. This position that I am going to recommend to the CEO will be helpful to what our company aims to achieve. I have asked the employees on what they think is best for such a job position and they are all agreeing to it. Everyone is supporting the idea of having a new marketing strategist, (Cunningham, & Harney, 2012). The feedback from the customers is positive and it is from these that I have decided that we miss such a position, which is an essentiality to the business. Handling customers will be top of the strategist’s agenda. Many people understand that the product does not matter as much as the services and the handling of the customers.
The following is presented to the CEO of Super Distillers to recommend the creation of the position of a new growth strategist. The main purpose behind this step is for growth benefits.
Background
Current goals and objectives
The goals and objectives of the company are aimed at becoming the number one global brand in distilling. The objectives are to provide our consumers with the best and long lasting product in the market.
Expansion into new markets
We want to expand our brand into new markets and hence require a strategist to assist us in this venture.

Wait! Business paper is just an example!

Planning of new product
We want to expand our product line by 200%, which means more production boosted by increased sales.
Competitive advantages
The new expansion will require new technological ideas as our current technology can only maintain the market but is not capable of supporting the new expansion.
New skills
It is not necessary to have new skills to assist us in meeting the new objectives.
Job description
The strategist should be self-motivated. The intrinsic motivation of this position will make or break the company depending on the level. An intrinsically motivated individual will surely assist in the company gaining more ground on its rivals and having stronger roots. A strategist also needs to be creative, as each of the steps taken to drive the company forward will matter as they depend on his level of creativity. A creative strategist will keep the company afloat despite the marketing and industry conditions, (Montgomery, et.al, 2012). Marketing is an essential part of a company if it is to succeed. As part of the strategies to implement, this new position will task the employee on matters involving marketing, production, and widening our brand. The techniques that will be in use will involve how to grow our brand better. The strategist should possess good interpersonal skills since they will be relating to many people such as customers and our other employees. Coordination should be encouraged to go along with harmony for the success of our firm.
The required experience for this position is a person who can speak at least three international languages apart from English. The language issue is to allow him/her to travel to a different country and broker deals for the benefits of our company. The individuals should also be tech savvy as well possess an extensive about our product so that they can market it well for the customers. Being a team player is an added advantage, as this position will also have its team of employees to work together in meeting the company and industry demands.
The salary range for the strategist position will be a basis of $60,000- $80,000 USD excluding allowances and bonuses. This position will be more senior than many others at the company will. The main special part of the position is that it will be a senior position akin to a managerial position. The strategist will study the market and decide on the direction that the company should take. The strategist will hold the same position as the manager as the two have to work together and coordinate their actions for the better of our company, (Cunningham, & Harney, 2012). The strategist will only be answerable to the human resource manager and the CEO of the company. More knowledge and skills are required for the new position. The tasks will be more complex for the new position as it has to identify the market and determine the correct position to venture into. Hence, more responsibilities would be required for the new position.
Sincerely
Michael Joe
Manager, Human Resources
