Comments:
The article chosen is very informative by researching the effects of sensory-motor training on sensory and motor function among patients with PD. The Parkinson’s disease causes problems related to the processing of sensory signals. Individuals with PD often have difficulties performing activities of daily living due to the motor and cognitive impairment. The article goes ahead to propose the use of constraint-induced movement therapy as a necessary intervention to address the situation. The authors conduct comprehensive research outlining the strengths, threats, and limitations of the study. On the other hand, the paper hardly documents the strengths and weaknesses of the study. The paper does not report measures of validity and reliability, and yet they are all reported in the article. Most of the information presented in the clinical bottom line should be in the results section. The research design out to be RCT rather than a non-RCT. Some parts of the paper have been copy-pasted directly from the article and yet there are no quotations. There is also an unnecessary in-text citation; the citation placed in the section under recall or memory bias. The PICO question should not be indented. In the intervention section, “how long” means the entire duration. The fact that the study was conducted in Iran does not mean that all the participants are Iranian.
