The Christian belief is the knowledge of existing in a new personal and dynamic association with God via the indwelling and transforming authority of Jesus in one’s life and body. The strategy to this fresh experience of existing, and its indispensable factor, is believing God. Faith is of a greatest importance in Christianity. It is vital how an individual relates to Almighty God and consequently is one among the dominant teachings of Jesus. And without faith, it is impossible for an individual to please God. Islam is a spiritual system that was started by Muhammad in the seventh century. Islam religion uses the term Allah referring to one real God. Christianity and Islam have some similarities and significant differences.
Numerous religions have influenced the beliefs and thoughts of millions around the world. Among these faiths are Christianity and Islam, mutually of which are alike, yet incredibly dissimilar. Christianity had come before Islam and is recognized to be the foundation of Islam. This makes sense because the two faiths share a lot in common. They are both monotheistic and Abrahamic religions meaning they share the trust in only single true living God and are embedded to have various similarities (Christensen n.p). Their dissimilarities, nevertheless, are what render them two unique religions, which is the reason they are classified and recognized for being so. Differences and similarities rise in many situation and topics, however, differences control and split them into contrasts.

These topics comprise religious belief, rituals, teachings, and practices. Christianity and Islam both teach their believers how to be prosperous after death and in life. Both religions use a holy book, said to have been inspired by God, for practice and faith. They call for great ethical standards and somber personal commitment. They both share mutual traditions, as Muhammad trained from Jews like Christians. Islam and Christianity have a visualization to spread their faith across the world.
The essential variance between Islam and Christianity is the dissimilarity between Muhammad and Jesus. Muhammad was actually a spiritual leader, who came to be a political leader, and eventually a violent army leader. Jesus was also a mystical leader who gave his life to take away sins of the world. Muhammad consummated his mission by using a sword to rule. Jesus completed his task by vanishing on the cross. Muslims assert that Jesus wasn’t Son of God but one of the utmost important prophets. Muslims don’t believe Jesus perished on the cross. They don’t comprehend why Allah could allow Isa who is his own prophet to die such a torturous death. Nonetheless, the Bible illustrates how the demise of the flawless God’s son was necessary to recompense for the iniquities of the world.
Islam imparts that the last revelation and the final authority of Allah are the Qur’an. The Christian Bible, nevertheless, was finalized in the first century with the revelation book. The Bible cautions against anybody subtracting from or adding to the word of God. The Qur’an claimed that addition to God’s word; openly disobeys the command of God. Muslims trust that paradise could be netted through observing the five pillars. The Christians’ Bible, in contrast, discloses that wicked man could never be good enough to the righteous God. Only by the grace of God sinners would be held back through repentant belief in Jesus. Muslims trust that human beings are born innocent and pure. After reaching adolescence, they’re responsible for whatever they do and should select right from immoral. Islam also clarifies that action and faith go hand in hand. On the other hand, Christians believe that humans inherit original sin from Adam (Gauss n.p). Mankind is then inherently sinful and is the requirement of clemency of sin. By understanding wrong or right Christians decide on their actions. People are a broken, fallen race in the necessity of repair and salvation by God.
Muslims are simply thought to eat foodstuffs that are agreed to be halal. Pork is prohibited. On the other hand, although the Bible’s Old Testament states that certain meats must not be eaten, Christians typically feel this fact do not relate to them and so they eat whatever they want to consume. Muslims trust that when they perish, there is an interim next world like purgatory, where souls wait for judgment day while Christians accept as true that after death, they are instantly judged and placed on hell or heaven. It is compulsory for Islam Faithfull to stand facing Mecca and narrate a recommended liturgy “salat” at five particular times each day. On the other hand, Christians do not have such obligation. Progressively, the Christian ecclesiastical is tolerating persons who are sexually appealed to the similar sex but this remains largely prohibited in Islam (Gauss n.p). Christian women and men worship together while Muslims separate the sexes. Christian church forbids Polygamy but Muslim males may have more than one wife. Christian females and males may wear gold and silk, however, Islam permits only females to wear gold and silk. Therefore, Islamic faith and Christianity faith have some similarities and differences in such things as the teachings, core beliefs and what is expected of the faithful.
