Cleopatra, the Iron Lady of Egypt.
Cleopatra has continuously been one of the history’s famous beauties both regarding having an informed mindset that was object oriented and developing problem-solving techniques as a female ruler. But was she beautiful? Modern-day historians declare to have proof that Cleopatra was not as impressive as it is believed to be. The reliance posed by the sculpture over hundreds of years after it’s curving does not fail to represent the strength and will of the person it represents. Art seems to be an actual representation of reality in this case.
The bust at Royal Ontario Museum displays her and tends to portray her as a lady of unbelievable substantial excellence and tempting abilities — in reality, her sentimental associations with Julius Caesar the greatest conquer probably because of her beautiful face and character. The good part about her is not only what made her mystery not to be tamed. She was believed to be a ruthless killer. In the book, Queen of Kings by Headly Cleopatra is described to have been testing poison among her servants to find out the best and less painful way to die. Her famous name and successful endeavors was a prize she earned.
Excellence of Cleopatra
Cleopatra is mostly known as the sexual and seductress princess who died before her over Antony. There are a lot of factors involving achievements, sacrifices, and loss she had to suffer before attaining her status. As much as her excellent appearance was a significant influence in seducing men f high class in the society she was also a woman of class- a princess.

Therefore the queen title was her birthright before anything else. Several aspects of her life made her a symbolic legend in today’s generation.
Her fight for the throne
According to Blackwell publishing (2008), Cleopatra’s rise to be the queen of Egypt was after the challenges that faced Ptolemy XII became adverse he had to seek help from the Romans. The death of their father was not the end as they remained partisan about who should control the kingdom- Ptolemy VII and Cleopatra. They had to rule together as equals (wish of Ptolemy XII). This, however, did not please the both of them as they had their power ambitions. The growth of each other’s belief that they could have it all for themselves brought disagreements which resulted in hatred among the two. Their division grew throughout the entire Egyptian kingdom.
When to become an Opportunist
Nothing comes without effort and making the right calculated moves. Cleopatra taking advantage of her multilingual proficiency managed to interact with the Romans so well that she made Julio Cesar fall for her. The relationship between the two helped Cleopatra attain much power in her efforts to govern Egypt. Her charm and epitome beauty attracted Cesar despite the fact that a lot of historians dispute the fact that she did not possess the latter. A woman’s beauty is more in the strength of the mind than the facial representation. Even most of the informed scholars find it difficult to ascertain if Cleopatra’s relationship with Cesar was out of love or a political supremacy move. Many in Egypt feared the famously known for his iron farm in ruling Cesar. His arrival in Egypt inspired fear and respect at the same time. Rome also in its endeavors had to rely on Egypt for the supply of grains.
Cesar became her savior who had re-established her dignity, and she was able to have the better part of the kingdom. This took a toll on Ptolemy VII who could not revolt against the unspeakable. He later passed after some time.
Vigilance
Cleopatra made sure there was no one to succeed her except her son by playing a part in the assassination the son of Ptolemy VII who was the next rightful heir to the kingdom. Also, the fact that she had become the mother of Cesar’s son made her have even more control over the Egyptian territory.
Her loss
This is a woman who was faced with countless losses but managed to come out strong. Few of the famous option pharaohs had managed to do only half of what Cleopatra managed over her twenty-two years of ruling Egypt. She lost her kingdom one; she fought with her army and managed to regain it. She almost lost it again to her rivals but gathered the greatest Egyptian army of all times and regained control again only to finally collapse.
Past leadership had to be taken by all means possible and being a strong woman she did just that. The social discrimination of women and subjugation never held her back from attaining her leadership dreams. She was not ready to be a tool that can be objectified- something the modern woman and all her beauty is still suffering from. This is the most important fact that needs to go down in history rather than the endless debates whether she was a gorgeous epitome of beauty or not.
