The September 11 attacks on the America’s soil, were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks which were performed by Islamic terrorist group known as al-Qaeda. The attacks took place on Tuesday 11th, 2001 and left two thousand nine hundred and ninety-six people dead while more than six thousand injured. The attacks also caused the loss of $10 billion property loss. The terrorists hijacked four passenger airlines that departed from north-eastern of United States headed to California and used them to perform their heinous activities.

To combat this danger, the homeland security has employed new technologies and increased emphasis on the intelligence collection and analysis. Also, the article highlights how the United States has created relationships with other countries to prevent terrorists from acquiring weapons of mass destruction.

Also, the airports installed luggage search machines that have helped to improve the overall security of passengers.
In conclusion, I believe the United States will win the war on terrorism. This is because the government has stipulated strategies that have enhanced security in the country and at the borders. Also, the government has allied with other countries to ensure terrorist groups are destroyed to achieve global peace.
