I would use the remaining ten minutes to assist where I can and notify the office to send patrol unit due to the next shift to take over.
I would drive by although not as hurriedly as in previous times only to ensure there is no problem and also to obey instructions given by supervisor. Also, making a deceptive report that I visited the area when in fact I did not is an example of unethical behavior that Pollock (2007) suggests.
My legal duty as a criminal justice member is to protect and serve the public as indicated by Pollock and Becker (n.d). Therefore, I would take a report to calm the boy and help him find it once done with dinner.
I would make arrest threats to the two fighting men for assaulting an officer (my colleague and failure to follow an order to stop fighting. If the fighting persists, I would go ahead and arrest them.
