The indigenous people despite trying could not stop them, since they brought piojos, fleas, rats, cockroaches and other alimañas, in addition to various diseases such as: smallpox, measles, whore, flu, diphtheria, plague, tifus, tracoma, bitm, rage, gonorrhea, tuberculosis, leprosy, yellow fever, syphilis that meant death for many people so their conquest facilitated.

According to (Correa, 2016) “Diseases brought by Spaniards wreaked havoc on indigenous populations. Between 1537 and 1546 an epidemic killed approximately 80% of the Indians, about 800.000."

They also demolished temples, cults and books of ancient religions in this way disabled their history and identity from the fertility of their corn to the power of their armies, the colonizers focused their attention on children, once convinced that the customs of theirParents were not correct, the Spaniards asked the little ones to serve them as spies of their parents who continued worshiping the pagan gods.
