Introduction

El Quijote is the main work written by Miguel de Cervantes, and consists of two parts. The ingenious Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, published in 1605, and the ingenious gentleman Don Quijote de la Mancha, 1615. It is such a relevant novel in Castilian literature, which sometimes refer to it as the language of Cervantes. This type of novel is cavalry, that is, it recounts the abnormal exploits and adventures of legendary and invincible heroes.

Developing

The Quijote, belonged to the noble class, but within the nobility, belonged to the social group of the nobleI had no noble title. Nor had vassals, or enough fortune to become a gentleman or to have a noble title. 

But instead, the nobles were exempt from paying taxes. We can know the situation in which this social group is at the time because he says he had a "skinny rocin", which is a very thin horse. When he says he had … a mistress who passed from the forties … and a field and square boy … It’s because he had very few people at his service. 

Another reference that gives us, is when he says he has … a pot of something more cow than ram, splash more than nights … This shows that he had very little variety of delicacies in his meals. Finally, when he says … he sold many hanegas of land of lock … indicates that it was a rural gentleman.

We can find the character of the character for chivalrous readings because Cervantes explains that Don Quijote, is bored in his hacienda, and begins to read chivalrous novels.

Through them he tries to flee his mediocre life through new adventures that provide greater social prestige.

To describe the process that the Hidalgo follows, Cervantes tells us that Quijote in his spare time was dedicated to reading cavalry books. He liked it so much that he forgets to hunt. Next, start selling their lands to buy more books of cavalries. It begins to spend whole nights reading, and sleeps very little, so … the brain dries, so that it comes to lose the trial ..

In conclusion, I think it is a little complicated story of understanding due to the language it uses, but that perfectly explains how the nobles were at that time.
