How did Pope Paul VI alter the minor orders?
The orders of rector, exorcist, porter and acolyte were recognized as minor orders in the traditional Latin Church. Pope Paul VI in his 1972 Apostolic Letter, repressed tonsure, and this resulted in the entry into the clerical state as well as subdiaconate. Their functions were handed over to acolytes and rectors. Acolytate and lectorate were retained though they were no longer referred to as Orders but were considered as ministries conferred through installation rather than through ordination.
Explain the Liturgical Vestments
The first attire the priest wears is the amice that is rectangular shaped linen cloth.

Wait! Early Christianity paper is just an example!

The priest wears the cloth under his alb using two strings at the upper corners of the cloth. The purpose of the cloth is to cover the priest’s neck to hide the cleric’s Roman collar. The amice signifies Christ’s humiliation since a linen cloth covered the heads of criminals sentenced to death. The alb, a long white robe is a sign of peace and is worn during liturgical celebrations by all clerics. The alb is tied at the waist by the cincture that is a sign of chastity. The maniple that bears similar color to the chasuble is worn by clerics on the left hand. Its purpose is to remind a cleric to be ready to suffer in the quest to spread God’s word. A scarf like clothing, the stole is worn by the priest, deacon and bishop over the alb. It is of great importance and signifies the ordained office. Worn during the sacrifice of the mass, the chasuble matches the liturgical color and is worn over the stole and alb by bishops and priests.
Explain the liturgical colors
Liturgical colors are the particular colors used in the liturgical garments. Blue is closely linked to the Virgin Mary and is used in the Spain for the Immaculate Conception. Rose color is used the third Sunday of Advent and the fourth Sunday in Lent. On Holy Innocents, red is used. Events such as these include Pentecost, Palm Sunday and feasts of Apostles, Martrys, and Evangelists. Green is used after Pentecost as well as after Epiphany. During advent and on vigils aside from the Pentecost vigil, violet is used. Black is on the other hand, synonyms with masses for the dead as well as on Good Friday.
