Abstract
Guns are well known as metal objects with mechanical attachments from which projectiles are shot by the force of an explosive which is an ordinance. There is a different wide variety of types of guns. The government policy about the possession of weapons in schools may affect schools differently. While firearms may be essential for the safety of schools they are also associated with other risks of having them in possession and easy accessibility. Individuals designed to use these guns may get the thorough training required on how to use them. This study provides effects on gun regulation on school-related crimes. It also takes into consideration the dangers associated with the possession of guns in schools. Government policies and measures are essential in monitoring the policy recommendations. This research is to find out the effects of gun regulation on school-related crimes. A mass shooting is terrifying and needs thorough training and teaching for an individual to be able to handle them.

Alleviating of regulations that prohibit the use of guns and their possession in schools has been associated with increasing numbers of homicides, suicide, and injuries in schools. There have been debates that gun deaths and ownership are closely related. Research shows no positive effects in arming teachers. It indicates that putting more guns in school could make gun violence more severe.

Some students and teachers may cooperate and get into arguments which may escalate into gunfights causing even more severe problems.
It is difficult to stop a mass shooting even after going through the proper training in handling a firearm. While school shootings take up only a few minutes, it takes much longer for the respondents to arrive. Even so, it is much complex as people may not be able to respond appropriately to a mass shooting. These may get the teachers getting themselves killed or shooting at innocent civilians as they try to handle the situation (Duggan, 2001).
Murders take place as people use these guns for self-defense. As much they are killing these criminals in the bigger picture it is still murder. Therefore murderers can be born out of teachers all in the name of self-defense. This is due to the easing of prohibitions on the possession of guns. Thus possession of firearms by teachers makes the overall gun violence worse rather than making it better. Increasing the presence of weapons in schools exacerbates gun violence.
The unlimited access to guns by youths in schools increases the risks of gun victims, violent crimes which include homicide and suicide. Research has shown an increasing number of murders, suicide, and injuries through gunshots. This has increased the number of deaths among these youth. The more troubled teens are the bullied ones who may seek revenge against their fellow peers using guns. Guns are the leading causes of deaths and injuries among schools which have been an effect on gun regulation policies by the government.
