Proposal 1: Implementation of Wellness Program
For the past six months, our School-Based Health Center has attended a high number of ill students both outpatient and inpatients. As a result, a sharp trend of health care costs has been noticed within the short time. A proposal is herewith made for the implementation of a wellness program we believe could cut down costs related to health care within our health unit.
The quarterly year analysis on our SBHC records has indicated that 80% of our healthcare cost emanate from common illness such as poor nutrition, stress, overweight, lack of exercise, and high blood pressure. These costs are on education performance of students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and our institution as a whole. They lead to absenteeism, destruction, and low productivity.
Establishment of wellness program would significantly lower costs linked to school health care. Besides, our school would flourish through other various associated benefits. Institutions with enhanced wellness program have reduced the cost of operation. Health students and staffs will not only cut down absenteeism and production costs but will also result in high education outcome due to increase morale.
Whereas numerous factors influence our students’ well-being and health, the school is cited as a major contributor. Students utilize much of their time in school. Very few of them consume calories within their school premises justifying the need for the provision good learning grounds.

Past research has indicated that obese and overweight children are likely not to change even in their later ages. Similarly, students who are physically active and consume a balanced diet have better academic performance (“How important is a teacher’s wellness?”, n.d.). Having short movement breaks and heavy meals can improve students’ classroom behavior and help them remain focused. Thus, we should develop healthy learning environments with valuable wellness, physical activity, and proper nutrition. Besides the need to support students’ health, creating school wellness program would also heighten academic performance
Proposal 2: College Security Concerns

For the past two years, our institution has been experiencing a high level of arson attacks, break-ins, and vandalism. All these are documented in our incidents record. No vandalism has been seized while the school has borne the cost of repairs. Although vandalism incidents occur throughout the year, security report has shown that most incidents occur during summer periods. Due to the escalating vandalism and ongoing security incidents within our institution, concerns have been raised regarding the adequacy of security measures employed to mitigate security risks and potential rapid response are imperative. A proposal is herewith submitted that the security department need to commission security consultant to carry out physical security review within the institution.
The main objective of conducting the review will be to identify specific security loopholes in aligned and physical operational security and to make recommendations on suitable solutions for further consideration to manage future security threats.
We make the following summary proposal as the scope of the review of a consultant to be commissioned:
Physical review protection of all departments on the premises
A protection review of electronic installed data
A complete survey of the institution reviewing systems to establish appropriate measures
Assessment of response measures
Draw a recommendation along with the estimated budget.
