Empirical and Quantitative Skills Analysis
The statistical chart shows the percentage in poverty in three different household types with varying levels of education namely: female householders with related children under the age of 18, married couples with related children under 18 years and all households. It appears that as the combination of households increases the percentage of poverty steadily decreases which makes sense. For instance, female houses are run by a single person whereas married homes are managed by more than one person, therefore; the shared responsibilities enable the combating of poverty.
Following the bar graph, female householders with related children under 18 have the highest percentage in poverty with females not graduates in high school leading with 56%. High school graduates follow with 35%, some in college with no degree 29%, associate degree holders with 22% and lastly the ones holding a more top bachelor’s degree having a poverty percentage of 12%. For married couples with related children under the age of 18, the ones lacking a high school graduate degree are25%, high school graduates have 9%, some in college but no degree 5%, associate degree 3% and bachelor’s degree 2%. Additionally, for all households, the ones not having a high school degree have 26%, high school graduates 12%, some in college with no degree with 9%, associate degree 7% and bachelor’s degree and more senior level with 4%.
The groupings are not equivalent but the married couples with children under 18 years having the lowest percentage in poverty.

Furthermore, individuals who are not high school graduates have the highest poverty percentage whereas the ones with a bachelor degree at a higher level have the lowest poverty rate. It can hold presumption that the level of education affects poverty with the most educated having a less poverty rate. Also, a combination of households implies sharing of resources, therefore, less poverty rate.
