Environmental problem at the Amazonas

The Amazon jungle is known as one the main "lung of the world" for the diversity of species that inhabit both plant and animal; In addition to housing aboriginal communities and being a land rich in renewable resources. This jungle has an extension of 7 million square kilometers that comprise territories of new countries among which are Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, among others.

In recent years, the sustainability of this jungle has been threatened by deforestation, livestock and in 2019, a forest fire that occurred mainly in the Brazilian area which took several days to go out and consumed a large amountof trees, vegetation and death of animals.

The activities that the human being has been developing for some time, especially in this territory of which we are talking about that it is the Amazon jungle, has led to deforestation since the felling of trees for the extraction of wood, the organization ofGrazing areas, agricultural sown, road construction is made often illegally and without adequate control by governments.

In this case, deforestation is causing a high environmental deterioration since by reducing the plant population as trees and flora, the ability to absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) of the atmosphere and in turn, to generate oxygen for animals is reducedAnd the human being that is one of the main functions of trees and plants and that is necessary to breathe. Out of this, the vegetation has many more functions within the environment since they are also responsible for filtering the waters and therefore, they help that there are no floods due to the absorption of water and nutrients.

Wait! Environmental Problem At The Amazonas paper is just an example!

And on the other hand, that there are no droughts since due to their photosynthesis process they can contribute their water reserves, thus retaining soil health.

Another point to take into account and that helps to determination of the Amazon jungle is livestock or some planted such as the palm. Palm cultivation since it needs a lot. As for livestock, these hectares are needed for a cow, so it is a large cattle, a fairly wide land will be needed for its growth and subsequent production of milk, meat or both. All this generates an affectation in the normal functioning of the ecosystem.

On the other hand, it must be understood that behind this environmental problem there are causes such as a poor institutional organization, a shortage of economic resources by governments since they are not designated in their programs for this cause and a concentration of wealth ina few and high poverty indices in the population.

To conclude, alternatives must be created in order to improve human practices since most environmental problems are caused by man;In addition, governments and authorities work jointly with communities to raise awareness about this problem and impose coercive sanctions for those who do not respect the protection of the environment.

The Amazon is the lung of the world and if we want to keep it we must guarantee the survival of aboriginal communities and the biodiversity of plants and animals. We are still on time!.
