How ethics affect the media, politics, science, technology, social changes, and social media.
Today we live in a fast-paced world characterized by massive changes and innovations in almost all spheres of life. For instance, social media advancements such as Facebook and Twitter are now a common phenomenon, and they have a huge impact on society. At the center of all these changes is the issue of ethics because humanity and ethics are intertwined. As such, ethics continues to have a huge influence on the new innovations or changes being made in various fields because the innovators have to consider the ethical implication of each innovation.
Science is one the key areas where ethics has had a big influence, particularly with regard to new genetics. Over the years, scientists have been modifying the genetic composition of animals and plants to increase yields. However, ethical questions such as is it moral to modify human genes have led scientists to conduct more research and forecast the possible implications of some changes. In other words, ethics has led to a higher level of moral responsibility among scientists and researchers (Lama 78).
Ethics also have an imprint on the changes happening in the social world. Technological innovations such closed-circuit cameras made to enhance the security of society have led to a higher degree of openness. Whereas the issue of privacy arises, such innovations can be said to be driven by ethics because the ultimate goal of any moral society or government is openness (Singer 463).

Equally, ethics can be said to be the ultimate motivation behind any change since any change is intended to make life better. In this regard, changes in media, politics, science and much more are intended to increase efficiency, productivity and enhance the quality of life (Klosterman 225). There is no doubt that all these intentions align with the definition of ethics.
In brief, ethics have an enormous impact on the changes we witness today. From social media changes to scientific changes, ethics act as the guiding principles for those who initiate the changes. Ultimately the primary goal is to achieve the best for society.
