Introduction
Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) requires various medical professionals and clinicians to look for the best literature source where they can find answers to different medical questions. There are various sources available such as journal articles, correspondences, and studies that medical professionals and clinicians can choose from. To find answers and information, clinicians have to look at the appraised resources such as ACP journal club as well as other light databases such as PubMed or MEDLIN that gives them access to the primary literature. The main GCU Library scholarly databases that will help me find the best research articles to support my EBP proposal are PubMed (MEDLINE) and Cochrane Library. These sources are better than the internet sources.
PubMed (MEDLINE) and Cochrane Library Databases
These two databases give the researcher complete access to primary literature as well as secondary sources. PubMed is made up of more than 20 million biomedical articles that are cited in other research works (Falagas, Pitsouni, Malietzis, and Pappas, 2008). The articles range from life sciences MEDLINE journals. PubMed also is also better than the Google scholar and other internet sources because it allows the users to access titles and abstract pages for free even without having to subscribe or sign up for the whole system (Vinkers, Tijdink, and Otte, 2015). Citations for PubMed articles include links that can allow the user to access the full article from the center of the publisher or the publishers on the website.

On the other hand, Cochrane Library has quality articles that have been verified by journal editors for professional medical references. These articles contain evidence that is independent and can be used to inform healthcare centers on how to make decisions. The articles and sources in this library are better than Google scholar and other internet sources because they are reliable evidence that comes from there Cochrane Library systems review. Most of the registries are published within the trials of clinical evidence. The method that is used to create Cochrane Library reviews is those that are recognized to be of gold standards to allow for developing review systematically.
