Peronism is an Argentine mass movement formed around the political thought of Juan Domingo Peron, who was a relevant player in the nation since the 1940s. Peron was elected as the president in the year 1946. Economic development of the country did change a lot during the year 1946-1955 and marked a turning point. During this period, there was a shift in the class alliance between the workers, armed forces and the Catholic Church. Eva Peron, who was the wife to Peron played a significant role in linking the workers movement to the president. She also brought forth the development of the rights of the women to be given equal considerations as men. Through the help Eva the women were able to participate in a range of activities including, the Partido Peroni sta feminine and women entered into working, and activities to create space for other women. As such this essay will critically analyze the participation of the women between 1945-1952 in various activities and programs with the help of Eva
Eva Peron accompanied her husband during the campaign that took place at the beginning of 1946 which helped him a lot in his campaigns as no other woman had done this before. This action was figurative as it showed how women began to show up in politics.
Women’s suffrage also referred to as the right to vote was the right of women. Women involved themselves in voting as Peron stated that women had rights to vote as they are the foundations of their homes, and they must show their selves in social frameworks of their people.

Partido Peronista Femenino was an organization formed that would only belong to women and was led by Eva Peron. Eva Peron desired to create an organization that would entirely belong to women. After evolvement had been made, Superior Council of Peronista was to organize a Peronista party that was to be utterly made up of women. The Peronista women Party held its first assembly on 26th July 1949 and elected Eva Peron as the President. It later formed “Unidades basics” that engaged in social actions and worked together with the Foundation Eva Peron and the Health Ministry of the Nation.
Women also involved themselves in activities to create space for other women within a Peronism as they had the right to. Eva’s humanitarian mission to Madrid on 15th June 1947 would say that the century was not to go down in history under the name of “Century of World Wars”. Relatively with a more substantial name “Century of Victorious Feminism “This notion was united and was not only to the Argentine women but also to all the women of the world.
In the interior of this structure, Eva started her campaign for women’s suffrage by urging legislators, by creating seminars in women who fearfully began to view Peronism as a medium disclosing onto new civic participation by starting a press and radio campaign song that all the women would take ownership of their lawful political rights.
Enfranchisement of women included the right of women to vote, to set them free and to give women the right to represent themselves. Peron expected that if he brought women to his side, they would act as “Domestic Missionaries” using their impact as wives and mothers to urge their male family members to vote for Peron. Evita emphasized that the enfranchised women should still present to men mostly President Peron. In spite of how Evita’s political party became it always remained subordinate to Peron’s hope and its organization was graded.
In conclusion, women should be given equal rights and should not be denied opportunities in leadership as they can also make good leaders. Eva played a very crucial role in ensuring that Women rights were observed, and it was during this period that the country made significant improvements in its economics. As such, women need to be given the chance to serve the people.
